Buyaa Privacy Policy
1. Introduction and Scope of Application
Buyaa is a product-display mobile application designed for individual buyers. It serves as a platform for displaying goods and services information in Djibouti, offering functions including product search, store browsing, and in-app chat communication between buyers and merchants. This application does not provide online transaction or logistics services; all actual transactions take place offline between buyers and sellers in person.
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the Buyaa APP. By using this App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy; please refrain from using the App if you do not agree. This Privacy Policy, together with the Buyaa Personal User Service Agreement, constitutes the complete legal agreement between the parties.
2. Information Collected
2.1 Information You Submit Voluntarily
Account Registration: Username, email address and/or mobile phone number, login password — used for login authentication and account security risk control.
Chat Content: Text messages you send to merchants through the App — stored on servers for message delivery, historical record viewing, and compliance/violation content review.
User Feedback: Messages and contact information you provide when submitting inquiries or complaints.
2.2 Automatically Collected Anonymous Non-Identifiable Information
To ensure stable App operation, assist troubleshooting, and support security risk control: device model, operating system version, session logs, crash logs, access time, and pages visited.
Important: This App does not automatically access precise location data, contacts, SMS, or photo gallery. Images are only uploaded to the server if you manually select and send them within chat conversations. No bank card, payment, or financial information is collected.
2.3 Content Uploaded Voluntarily
Images are uploaded to the server only when you manually select and send an image in the chat window. The application will not silently scan your device’s photo gallery.
3. Purposes of Information Usage
• Verifying account identity and ensuring login security;
• Enabling message exchange and retaining chat history;
• Diagnosing technical issues and improving App stability;
• Conducting risk control; identifying harassment, fraud, and prohibited content;
• Processing user inquiries and complaints;
• Performing anonymous usage statistics to improve our services;
• Complying with the laws of Djibouti and responding to lawful official investigations.
Your personal data will never be used for unrelated commercial marketing purposes. This App does not offer any online transaction or payment functions.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Your personal information will never be sold to any commercial third parties. Data may be disclosed only under the following circumstances:
• With your explicit consent;
• As required by the laws, courts, or competent government authorities of Djibouti;
• To protect the platform, other users, and to prevent illegal or fraudulent conduct.
Chat messages are visible only to the intended conversation partner (the corresponding merchant).
This App does not integrate any third-party advertising SDK or third-party data collection SDK.
5. Data Storage, Security, and Retention Period
Data is stored on encrypted cloud servers.
Account Personal Information: Retained while your account remains active. Upon account deletion request, personally identifiable information will be removed, except where retention is legally required.
Chat Records: Retained while your account is active; deleted upon account cancellation.
Anonymous Crash Logs: Retained for a maximum of 90 days.
6. Your Rights
Access and view your account information after logging in;
Modify your username, linked email address, and/or mobile phone number within the App;
Request permanent account cancellation;
Discontinuing use of the App shall be deemed withdrawal of your consent.

7. Policy Amendments

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Djibouti.
